I’m a life coach, but it’s not where I started out…
How did I end up as a life coach?
In honesty, I’ve always liked helping people. To sift through the issues that are causing them problems, to sort that stuff out and change people’s lives for good. To help become the people they want to be.
My journey began many years ago when I started as a carer, working with people who have learning difficulties. I enjoyed the work so much that I gained my nursing qualifications and then specialised in LD.
As a specialist in learning difficulties, I found myself working in prisons, helping people who desperately needed someone to believe in them and to help them escape from the cycle of reoffending.
In order to further the help I was able to offer, I went back to university and became a Psychiatric Nurse.
For me, this was a good way to help people. So many barriers in our lives, that stop us from doing what we want to do and from living the lives we want to live are self-imposed.
And here we are; I’ve now started my own coaching practice.
Nothing gives me greater satisfaction than seeing people transform their lives. To take a dream, create a plan, follow the plan and live their very best lives.
Kimberley.
